Kapiti Design was founded in 2007 by Rochelle Chapman, a Licensed Building Practitioner and Professional Member of ADNZ (Architectural Designers New Zealand). Based in Otaki Beach, we specialise in architectural design for new homes, renovations, house additions, and alterations across the Kapiti Coast, including Paraparaumu, Raumati, Waikanae, and beyond.

We love the Kapiti Coast - having lived at Paraparaumu Beach, Raumati, Raumati South, Waikanae and Waikanae Beach, Gary and I are now experiencing Sunny Otaki Beach.
I love my work. Walking through a building that started as a creative thought is simply awesome!
When we're not busy in the office, Gary and I like nothing more than heading of in the campervan and exploring other nooks and crannies around New Zealand - Aotearoa.
Rochelle, qualified in 1994, is a Licensed Building Practitioner - Design 2, and is a Professional Member of ADNZ (Architectural Designers New Zealand).
Rochelle leads the design process with creativity, technical expertise, and a deep understanding of local conditions.
Gary Chapman - Office Administrator
Gary has recently retired from over 50 years in the Electrical Industry He assists Rochelle to run Kapiti Architectural Design, looking after the office administration processes, and assists with client meetings and site measures
Katy Kat
Katy is the resident Kapiti Architectural Design cat. She is a Scottish Fold and very friendly.
